We’re on a 50-state road trip with our kids, looking for the coolest, kid-approved short-term rental in each state. In Michigan, we stayed at Jimmy Z Bison Ranch — a working ranch in Brown City with a cozy guest cabin and more than 200 bison.

Between feeding the horses, spotting the bison, and watching Steven and Jimmy take flight, this stop gave our whole family memories we’ll never forget.
