The shot I showed you in this video is a common composition I've noticed that most real estate photographers do. It showcases a lot of the stairs, but not enough of the room itself. The way we shoot is we like to tell the story on the sides. You see, we consider each wall – the third one right here, and even the fourth on the opposite side. This approach sets the stage, letting you understand the room's boundaries and its navigation.

If you're keen on capturing those stunning stairs, there's a trick to it. You can either shoot from an entirely different angle, highlighting the transition between stairs and room, or you can spotlight the stairs themselves. My go-to? Capturing the entryway, revealing how it blends seamlessly with the space. And there you have it, an establishing shot that truly encapsulates the essence of the interior.
