Black History and the love of our culture is in the air this month!
????❤️ ????????
And, while we should (and I do) celebrate all year round, I'm taking this month out to highlight travel trends and issues that are specific to African American travelers
To kick it off.. Check out these Black-owned 5 star accommodations around the world! These beautiful places to stay have been tried and tested and are highly recommneded by many premier travel authorities in the industry... including me ????
????Jnane Tamsna (Morocco). Owner Meryanne Loum-Martin's property in Morocco is decorated with an interior designers eye for everything beautiful and extravagant. There are 24 rooms across 5 houses, 5 pools and a vila for rent. I love this place as a base for exploring the city of Marrakesh. Several activities are available on property too, including a cooking class and a sidecar tour of the city. @jnanetamsna
????La Maison Michelle (Barbados). Guy and Michelle Jenkins, a husband and wife team, know it's all about location, location, location! This beautiful villa sits atop a hill in the city of St. James. There are 7 hign end suites available for rent, making this a great option for a destination wedding, family reunion or girlfriend getaway. @lammbarbados
????Blue Apple Beach House and Resort (Columbia). Owner Portia Hart and her staff know how to throw a party! These are parties that even the locals want to attend. You can beach during the day and party at night. This resort is also very LGBTQ+ friendly. @blueapplebeach
Consider supporting these black-owned hotels on your next travel adventure. Any others you would recommend???
