It happens time and time again. I had a situation where the agent told me that they suddenly had 4 very good offers come through, so I should let them know if my client is interested. That turned off my buyer. 2 weeks later, the property was still active on the market, never sold. I don’t know what to say about that strategy, but it’s not good. It may have worked for some people, but how much damage can you do to your reputation?
