Have you ever wanted to try out living in Japan? ????????
If you’ve been to Tokyo and fell in love with it, I highly recommend renting an apartment for your next trip.
You get more space, lower the costs and you’ll get to see more local neighborhoods and parts of the city. You also get to try more grocery shopping (their food shops are amazing) and get to dig deeper and get to know a whole other side of the city.
Although square meters in Tokyo don’t come cheap, it’s actually cheaper than a hotel room or weekly rental in most places. ???? It’s also the perfect way to slow-travel for a bit instead of taking trains all over the country during your visit!
How did I like living in Tokyo?
I’ve wanted to try living in Tokyo for years and this summer I finally took the plunge and decided to call Tokyo home for a while. And here’s what our little Japanese home looked like.
I don’t know if I’d like to live in Tokyo forever but if you never try you’ll never know. Trying it out for a period of time is a very simple way to see if you’re just into the idea of living somewhere else, or if you could actually get serious about moving there. For now, I’m torn. I can easily see myself spending more time in Tokyo and returning frequently, and my focus is currently on making this a possibility. I’m however not too keen on the logistics of setting up a life there. ????
