We’re on a 50-state road trip with our kids, looking for the coolest, kid-approved short-term rental in each state. In New Jersey, we checked into Nama Stay - a bright, spacious, family-friendly home just minutes from Liberty State Park.

After a quick walk through Times Square and lunch at Urban Hawker, we made our way across the river to Jersey City, where Nama Stay instantly felt like the perfect home base. The kids raced straight to the toys and coloring table, and we loved having big-city access without actually staying in the middle of Manhattan. This stop showed us the perks of choosing Jersey City for a family trip.
