Plaisir d'amour is a classical French love song written in 1784 by Jean-Paul-Égide Martini, based on a poem by Jean-Pierre Claris de Florian. Hector Berlioz arranged it for orchestra.
Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" uses the melody, as well as Joan Baez’s “The joy of Love”. The most famous original version was recorded by Nana Mouskouri.

Yves de Keersmaeker, the original YdK, is a performer and storyteller, as he puts it: 'these are images that
I draw with words'. A former international decorator, he met vocal coach Seth Riggs (Michael Bolton,
Michael Jackson and others) who steered the singer towards the crooner repertoire. With coach Pierre-
Yves Duchesne (Lara Fabian) he rediscovered the great standards of the French ‘chanson.’
The album 'Atlantique-Atlantic' is a journey through French songs, which have become popular on both sides of the Atlantic. It is a link with his former profession of antiques dealer specialized in silverware for hotels and ocean liners.
Patrick Hamilton's stylish production recaptures the grandeur of the 1950s, with a large orchestra of 50 violins.
A world of luxury and sensuality, full of grace, an old theatre atmosphere with red velvet seats. Yves de Keersmaeker, initiales YdK, un interprète, narrateur d’histoires, dixit : ‘ce sont des images que je dessine avec des mots’. Ex-décorateur international, ce sera la rencontre avec le coach vocal Seth Riggs (Michael Bolton, Michael Jackson et autres) qui dirige le chanteur vers le répertoire crooner. Avec le coach Pierre-Yves Duchesne (Lara Fabian) il redécouvre les grands standards de la chanson française.
L’album ‘Atlantique-Atlantic’ est un voyage à travers des chansons françaises, qui sont devenus des ‘standards’ de l’autre côté de l’Atlantique. C’est un trait d’union avec son ancien métier d’antiquaire spécialisé en argenterie de grands hôtels et de paquebots.
La production stylée de Patrick Hamilton renoue avec la grandeur des années 50, et un grand orchestre de 50 violons. Un univers entre luxe et volupté, plein de grâce, une ambiance de vieux théâtre avec ses fauteuils en velours rouge.
C’est aussi l’histoire d’un nouveau chemin de vie, le dépassement de soi, sortir de la zone de confort, résister et céder, mais grandir dans l’aventure. Un changement d’horizon à l’aube de la cinquantaine.
