Our Paris plans took a very unexpected turn…
The night before Thanksgiving, Tony experienced a sudden medical emergency that landed us in the ER and him ultimately being admitted to the hospital for multiple days. We were supposed to be heading to Paris, but instead we were navigating fear, uncertainty, and a journey we never expected.
Tony was diagnosed with Vestibular Neuritis, a sudden inflammation of the vestibular nerve that affects balance, causes severe dizziness, and can feel absolutely overwhelming. He’s healing now, slowly but steadily.
We wanted to share this experience honestly because this channel is about more than travel. It’s about building a new life, following a dream, and choosing courage even when life throws something scary in the way.
Our house is still on the market.
We still plan to move to Nice, France.
And we plan to travel to Paris (most likely in June), with even more gratitude.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for caring.
And thank you for being part of our journey. ????????????
