1️⃣ Grab your shovel & salt to clear the pathways for movers
-Clearing the pathway will help movers stay safe and do their job faster, saving you more money too.

2️⃣Talk to movers about carpet & floor protection
-Your moving team should bring neoprene floor runners to protect your hardwood floor, but let them know if you need your carpets protected too so they can bring additional protection.

3️⃣Double wrap belongings and use insulated containers
-Some things can get damaged with the cold, so make sure that you pack accordingly or hire movers to take care of it!

4️⃣Set your thermostat lower since heat will escape with open doors!
-Trying to keep your house warm by setting the thermostat high can waste energy and money. Instead, set it lower and wear layers to keep warm. PLUS, make sure you utilities are set up and on at your new house!
