The ArchiPro New Zealand August Project of the Month is Manukard by Mason & Wales Architects, in association with Vidaspace.

As you approach this extraordinary property, glimpses of the house emerge harmoniously within the landscape. The unique copper roof echoes the mountainous terrain, while hardwoods complement the native grasses. A lengthy, gentle driveway affords ample time to appreciate the house in relation to the awe-inspiring backdrop of the national park and surrounding mountains. The architecture demonstrates a profound respect for the environment, seamlessly integrating the dwelling into the scenery, and the scale is unprecedented.
