With today’s technology and resources, it’s easier than ever to manage a vacation rental remotely.

A few things to add to your checklist for easy management:

Automated Check-in & Check-out: Having a keypad or lockbox for automatic check-in will save you the trouble of having to call someone to open the door for your guests every time.

Keep a List of Providers: Having a list handy of plumbers, electricians, etc. will help in emergency situations when you need someone to come in ASAP.

Install Security System: There will be times when your home is vacant, keep it safe by installing a security system and cameras (just be sure to disclose your property is under surveillance).

Find a Reliable Housekeeper: This one is SO important. Interview different house cleaning companies to ensure you hire the right one.

They need to be available for every turnaround to ensure your new guests are not walking into a dirty vacation home.
