Deep in a Spanish forest near the Portuguese border stands a forsaken house, a fading relic slowly succumbing to nature's relentless claim. Its fate is sealed; within a couple of years, the wild will reclaim this desolate house entirely.
Once the home of Mr. Enrique, Mrs. Angela, and their children Alejandro and Marina, the house now battles time and the encroaching wilderness. Vines snake through shattered windows and blinds, and spaces are starting to crumble.
Enrique, a student of theology, and Angela, versed in philosophy, held steadfast religious beliefs. And amidst the ruins, a weathered piano in the living room whispers of bygone melodies.
Hints of their possible Jewish heritage emerge from books discussing Nazi Germany strewn throughout. Today, we venture into this forgotten dwelling, witnessing a poignant battle between encroaching vines and fading memories, as nature lays claim to its dominion.
