This was not staged.
.
I turned the Timelapse on because we were working the upstairs hall.
.
And he said, “I really could use your help.”
.
But he lied.
.
And I’m never sure whether it’s
1) this was your idea so you’re at least going to stand there and watch me do it OR
2) I can’t bear to be away from you.
.
But I’m taking bets.
.
I do feel bad though: there are times now that he’s relegated to loneliness because he’s painting or staining something fumey or I’m working on something else while he’s in work.
