How do you redefine a Mount Martha beach house? With no views to the water, @wolveridgearchitects5872 takes a more inward approach, shaping a courtyard home that replaces ocean views with calm, connection and a native garden.
Influenced by the coastal vernacular, concrete block, crazy paving and timber lend the home a tactile warmth that endures over time. The courtyard becomes both retreat and gathering space.
Although a speculative project, Honey House feels both relaxed and resolved, a quiet evolution of the Australian beach house.
