Located in Sydney's Elizabeth Bay, Solid Air by Anna.Carin Design Studio is an interior designer's home inspired by new rhythms and sounds that reflect its owner's Scandinavian heritage. Upon arrival, the apartment immediately stood out to the owner with arched windows, high ceilings and a window seat that complemented the home's interior. However, as with all projects, Anna.Carin Design Studio worked to highlight the apartment's unique aesthetic with architectural and furniture design. Starting by removing several walls in the apartment, Anna.Carin Design Studio studied a series of contemporary design methods that reveal the true nature of the house. Additionally, because song inspiration comes into play with every project Anna.Carin Design Studio works on, Anna-Carin chose the song Solid Air by John Martyn to influence the interior design.
