A long time ago, before taps were invented, people use to collect water to use for drinking and cooking purposes. Since water represented assets and money, managing the water falling into the roof, means you can manage your money well.

Although people no longer collect rainwater for drinking, if it can be used for something purposeful like growing plants or washing clothes it will help manage your money better. When water just spreads all over it shows that people live from month to month without any savings. Whatever that comes in simply goes out.

While rainwater means other people’s money coming to you, sprinklers represent the distribution of your own money, without any return.
