It’s hard to believe this is the same space! If you’re not familiar with our story, we purchased a family homestead a few years ago. The dream was not only to make it a home for ourselves, but potentially parents and generations to come. It was a scary and risky undertaking. All of the structures needed renovating so we rolled up our sleeves and did as much as we could ourselves. The main house on the property had a HUGE unfinished attic space. While some people saw the existing floor plan as a problem, we saw a MASSIVE opportunity. After three years of living in the home and playing musical bedrooms, we were finally able to bring this vision to life with the help of an incredible contractor. It took SIX months and A LOT of money (total transparency- over six figures).
