AVHNI is a contemporary residence nestled in the serene greenery of Edavannappara, Malappuram, Kerala. Designed by DIZA Architects (Adil Husain & Safvan), this 2,600 sq. ft. home brings together modern design and local sensibilities on a compact 9-cent plot.

Rooted in passive design principles, AVHNI seamlessly merges minimal geometry with natural surroundings. Large windows, courtyards, double-height voids, and soft green facades ensure light, ventilation, and a constant dialogue with nature.

Inside, the five-bedroom plan balances openness and privacy. Reused furniture and subtle traditional touches add warmth to the crisp contemporary palette. The home’s cuboidal form is softened by playful voids and evolving green screens, creating dynamic spaces that change through the day.

Designed as a tranquil, light-filled family home, AVHNI proves that thoughtful design can connect modern living with nature and place, even within tight site constraints.
