Nature and art are therapy.

Cooking, walking in a farmer’s market, watching a sunrise…; connecting with nature heals.

Find balance in the food you consume. Prioritize whole unprocessed produces. It’s ok to indulge in some tasty yet « unhealthy » foods occasionally.

Autumn, the season of beauty and endings.

Film helps me document visually my life at a specific moment. It captures a moving image that I would have otherwise forgotten.
Writing and journaling capture my feelings and thoughts in that instance. Music amplifies those emotions and adds layers of beauty to the art.

In my opinion, art is used for documenting human minds. We connect through another generation through music and art. We are absorbed into a glimpse of their vulnerability. A piece of our thought is left in writing forever, left to be discovered for the future. Just like how drawings from the past were left for us to be contemplated. Art is timeless and increases in value over time. It has always been a way for humans to create beauty out of pain or extreme emotions; an outlet. We create and write the most when hit by that high. Art is personal and subjective; it involves stories, experiences and emotions. Art is a privilege, but art is everywhere.

Sometimes, we use art to escape reality.

Life moves on quickly. Growth happens on the journey to your goals. Growth is always linear. Just be patient. Ambition, passion and discipline are your drives. We are bombarded with information and stimulus. Sometimes, pausing and just looking around to enjoy the present makes us appreciate these unnoticed constant that have always been there.

Seasons and nature are silent constants that have accompanied us throughout our whole life. They will persist long after we’re gone.

This is a film dedicated to Montreal’s autumn. You’re so beautiful. Thank you for giving me hope.
