Are These The Best Bay Area Architects?

The Bay Area is known for its incredible architecture and here are three of my favorite residential architects that work in the area.

First up is Butler Armsden. The SF based firm is among the best at utilizing and designing around California’s landscape, and has done homes all over the Bay Area including waterfront homes in Belvedere, one of which just sold for over $14 million.

Next up is Richard Beard based in the Dogpatch area of San Francisco. Hands down the firm is among the best at blending traditional with contemporary, and integrating homes into their surrounding landscape. One of their projects is on the market in Pacific Heights for $16.5 million.

Last up is Aidlin Darling founded by Joshua Aidlin and David Darling. What started as furniture and woodworking business has turned into one of the most well-known architecture firms. They’ve done amazing restaurant and other commercial spaces, and also some of the most stunning homes all over the Bay.
