There are 3 ways to add pest control to your new construction home during the framing stage. Some may even last the life of the home.
1. Boric Acid - This is a powder form of Boric Acid that can be sprinkled in the stud bays that will kill roaches and other bugs who come in contact with it. It stays behind the wall and keeps working for decades after being applied.
2. Bora-Care – It’s technically called Borate treatment. Bora-care is the brand of chemical used. It treats the studs and exterior sheathing from termites. They use a green dye to ensure adequate coverage.
3. In-wall pest control - This is a way to regularly treat the inside of your walls with pesticides because little tubs are run inside the stud bays. The pest control tech will treat the home from outside by connecting to a hub and injecting the treatment.
