Todays home buyers do half of the work that Realtors used to do in the past. In 2017 I created my Real Estate brand called Real Estate With a REBATE because I wanted to offer my buyers 50% of the builder paid commission for closing costs prepaids and interest rate buy-downs. With hundreds and hundreds of successful new home closings it just keeps rolling on. Now everyone wants that rebate. After all we are talking about thousands and thousands of dollars paid on your behalf. I have never met a person who likes paying closing costs so I try to solve that problem. The Government does put restrictions and limits on Realtor rebates or what's called third party contributions on financed homes to protect against loan fraud. If you are paying cash for your new home there aren't any of those restrictions.
